Google Launches Chrome Intel in Smartphones
CALIFORNIA - Google's Chrome browser can now be enjoyed from the smartphone with Intel. This is manifested by the pinned support for x86 architecture processors.
Quoted from TechRadar, Thursday (27/09/2012), in the UK, the first Intel-powered smartphone that will enjoy this browser is the Motorola Razr i made.
However, smartphones Orange San Diego will not be able to enjoy this browser because it still uses the Android operating system Gingerbread. While the Chrome browser requires Ice Cream Sandwich operating system or higher.
Although this is a positive step, for now Intel-powered smartphone is not widely circulated.
Smartphone with Intel still encounter compatibility problems, because the number of applications in the Android Market is designed with the specific code that runs on devices with ARM processors. This means that only approximately 70 percent of the apps in the Android Market that can be used with Intel processors.
