CALIFORNIA - HTC as a manufacturer of smartphones 8X and 8S with Windows Phone 8 claimed to have received a complaint from Nokia related patent dispute.
Reporting from T3, Friday (28/9/20120), HTC did not receive any complaints from Nokia, although reports indicate the Finnish company is preparing to launch a patent lawsuit against them.
"We did not receive any complaints from Nokia and do not want to comment anything until we receive a complaint attorney and learn," said HTC.
Nokia is reportedly preparing to HTC patent lawsuit over Taiwan-based company is launching a smartphone running the Windows Phone 8 is 8X and 8S. Nokia believes that the HTC smartphone design mimics the design of the device made by Nokia the Lumia 820.
The news comes just days after Nokia EVP of Sales and Marketing. Chris Weber scathing remarks via his Twitter account that read, "It takes more than just matching colors to match the innovation of the Lumia 920."
