Visitors Daily Active Instagram Defeat Twitter

CALIFORNIA - For the first time, managed to beat the number of visitors Instagram mobile Twitter. Reported analysis firm, ComScore, based on measurements of the number of phones in the period of August, Instagram has more number of daily active users or Daily Active Users (DAU) than Twitter.

Reporting from AllThingsD, Friday (28/09/2012), in the period, data from ComScore shows Instagram has an average of 7.3 million DAU, while Twitter only reach 6.7 million DAU. In addition, users Intagram spent 257 minutes access to the photo sharing service using mobile devices, while users of Twitter is only 170 minutes.

ComScore analysis performed by measuring the use of devices based on iOS, Android, and BlackBerry, which can access both sites through native apps and mobile browsers. The results from the analysis of approximately 110 million smartphone owners in the United States (U.S.).

In the period of August, known Twitter has about 29 million unique visitors in the U.S. and less than 22 million Instagram users. With the data successfully analyzed ComScore found that Twitter may have more smartphone users who visit a site using mobile web and apps, but Instagram users access the service more frequently and spend more time.
