Minecraft creator slams Windows 8

CALIFORNIA - Microsoft Windows 8 has drawn some criticism from game makers, and recently Minecraft creator Markus Persson is the latest figure to speak out on the issue.

"Got an email from Microsoft, like petrified approved a Minecraft for Windows 8. I told them to stop damaging the PC as an open platform," Persson said as quoted from PCMag, Monday (01/10/2012).

He adds better Minecraft does not run on Windows 8, "Maybe we can convince some people not to switch to using Windows 8."

As we all know Minecraft be sensational when successful sales surpass three million Xbox 360 within three months after launch. While on Windows 8 Persson is unlikely to have the same success.
