Kudunyahoo: No Intention Equating Yahoo

Who would have thought , the excess of the letter " o " could invite trouble from Yahoo . That is the main objection to the name of the internet giant a local site , Kudunyahoo.com .

Yahoo also sent a letter of warning to the Kudu Nyahoo , that ordered the site to replace the domain and remove all content related to Yahoo .

In fact , according to one of the founders of Kudu site Nyahoo , Assa Haq , it never intends to make the resemblance between the site and the brand name of the company from the United States .

The name " Kudu Nyahoo " itself is taken from two words in the language , namely kudu and nyaho , which means " to know " . As the name implies , this site presents a variety of information about culinary and tourism in Indonesia .

" To confirm the meaning nyaho , added the single letter ' o ' on the back , so it's like ' haloo ' , " Assa said to KompasTekno when contacted on Thursday ( 26/09/2013 ) . He continued , Yahoo did not make the rest of the site in addition to excess Nyahoo Kudu letter " o " is.

Assa allegedly objected if the site profiteer Yahoo names . According to him , on the internet there are many other sites that clearly violated copyright by using the Yahoo brand in naming the website . " So , why are we accused ? Fact , their meaning is completely different and there is the letter ' n ' in the word ' nyahoo ' . "

Assa admits that they do not know how it would resolve the conflict with Yahoo . To be sure , if it was indeed violated , he said he did not mind replacing the domain . " We want to know first the extent to which the patent application , whether patentable regional languages as well ? " he asked .

Kudu Nyahoo site was inaccessible on Thursday ( 09/26/2013 ) yesterday , for a reason unknown owner himself . On Friday ( 09/27/2013 ) , Kudu Nyahoo was able to visit again .

Whatever the solution to Yahoo later , Assa hoping to continue the service information that has been initiated since two years ago it was with two other founders , Hady and Syarif Hidayat Hidayat . " We want to be appreciated as well . Absolutely no desire to emulate Yahoo , " he concluded .
