Japan Display Announces 12.1 Inch Tablet Screen 4K Resolution

TOKYO - Japan Display Today announced the first panel -resolution 12.1 -inch tablet that supports 4K resolution . This is the first screen that presents the components 356ppi density .

Reported by the company , on Thursday ( 10/25/2013 ) , this component has resolisi 3.840x2.160 screen . Has dimensions 273.7x146.6x1.96mm , the screen is claimed to deliver a wider perspective .

Furthermore , the screen is also claimed to be efficient on power usage . Therefore , Japan Display using low temperature poly silico technologies ( LPTS ) .

Other specifications , this display has a component 1.000:1 contrast , 500cd/m2 brightness , and power consumption when using the backlight 3.600mW at the maximum level . Meanwhile, if you do not use a backlight , the power consumption of only 360mW .

Unfortunately, Japan Display not provide information on whether this new screen has entered the stage of mass production . however , the company will release this product in the next year .

To note , Japan Display is one of the suppliers of screens for Apple products .
